Under the general supervision of UN-Habitat Chief of Communications and Media Section as well as the substantive officers, the incumbent will undertake the following activities:
• Working in liaison with the headquarters and regional teams, collect all the relevant stories on activities held across the globe to mark Urban October including from the website and reaching out to partners.
• Collect photos for the stories from the website and partners and write captions
• Edit the stories on the events received
• Decide on the format and put together both the short form and the long version of the Urban October Report
• Work with the design team on the layout
• Ensure that the Urban October Report is produced within the set deadline
